Peace Practice

Service Description
This class is accessible, comfortable and nourishing. We will spend a short time practicing simple reclined movements and gentle deep breathing to cultivate ease. This will be followed by a forty minute Yoga Nidra meditation. This 'yoga sleep' practice helps our nervous system and brain waves to induce into deep states of rest and healing. We will spend all remaining class time practicing Metta Meditation (loving kindness) to nurture both inner and outer peace. Please note that all of the practices can be done lying down comfortably and this requires students to bring as many comfort items as needed to rest on the floor. Two yoga mats, a bolster, blanket, pillow, eye cover and warm clothing could all be helpful. Beginners are welcome and the class is 75 minutes long.
